Visual artist As a multimedia artist and former psychotherapist, my practice merges visual art with psychological insight. Informed by Jungian archetypes and Buddhist philosophy, I explore the thin line between abstract thought and lived reality. Through bold color, repetitive motifs, and intricate textures, I create pieces that resonate with psychological depth. My work centers on the tactile language of textiles— stitching, painting, and printing onto hand-dyed fabrics. This medium embodies fluidity and complexity, departing from traditional confines. This choice is also deeply personal; it honors the influence of the women in my life—my mother, grandmother, and sister—while allowing me to construct intricate, "collage-like" compositions defined by strong lines, abstracted forms, and bold patterning. Ultimately, I strive to weave a tapestry that delves into the complexities of human struggle, women’s issues, and the spiritual interconnectedness of our world. Each piece serves as a layered exploration of the universal symbols that shape our internal and outer landscape.
